Linda Vista

Today was a real special day. We went to another LACC school that was located much higher up. It was called Linda Vista. The children at this school were special. There is a joy there that is hard to translate into words. You truly have to be there to experience it. You can feel love dripping off every square inch of the school. This school has a choir and they were heading out to sing on TV. They sang a couple songs for us. Simply moving. Worship is at the heart of this place. Their teacher is really pushing them to live at the heart of worship. Above is a small clip of what we heard.

After we dried our eyes from listening to the choir we hopped in the gym and commenced battle in soccer. It is a universal language here. I don't speak Spanish very well but I love soccer and so do they and that makes us all friends! I actually scored a couple goals today. Why am I bragging about scoring goals on little Costa Rican children? Because they scored about 20 times that on us! For those of you who don't know I tore my hamstring a couple weeks ago playing soccer. For me, the best rehab I can do is play soccer with Costa Rican kids.

We're having a blast. Tomorrow we head south into more indigenous places. Horses and hammocks....
